The NiSi S5 Circular IR ND64 (1.8) 6 Stop + CPL for S5 150mm Holder is specially designed for Ultra Wide Lenses. The ND Filter creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement in your images.
Adding a CPL together with the ND you can control reflections and also the shutter speed together in one filter. The CPL helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. A polarising filter arranges, and filters, this directionally polarised light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of this light.
NiSi Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters like GND filters. This filter is made from high quality optical glass (not resin) with nano coating to provides an improved beading effect with water or oil for more efficient cleaning.
The NiSi S5 Circular IR ND64 (1.8) 6 Stop + CPL for S5 150mm Holder is specifically designed for the NiSi 150mm S5 holder and requires an 150mm S5 Holder.
